Jatin P. Shah, M.D, is Professor of Surgery at the Cornell University and holds The Elliott W. Strong Chair in Head and Neck Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York. He has published 14 medical textbooks and more than 670 peer reviewed articles which have been cited over 77000 times. His h- index is 159 and i10 index is 592.  He has received Honorary Fellowships from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England, Ireland, Edinburgh and Australia, Honorary Ph.D and DSc degrees from Belgium, Greece and India and numerous medals and Honors from every corner of the world. He is Past President of the New York Head and Neck Society, New York Cancer Society, Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, North American Skull Base Society, and International Academy of Oral Oncology.  He founded the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) and serves as it’s Chief Executive Officer. He has been honored with an eponymous lecture in his name by IFHNOS, an academic symposium in his name by the American Head and Neck Society, and the Jatin Shah Lectureship and an Endowed Professorial Chair in his name at MSKCC.
