Thanks to aesthetic medicine today, it has become possible to improve the appearance and quality of life of our patients by correcting congenital or acquired defects, as well as by slowing down the signs of aging.

 

For the first time in Azerbaijan, world-renowned French professors Jean-Paul Meningaud and Barbara Hersant will conduct a training course on “Modern Technologies in Aesthetic Medicine.”

 

This training will demonstrate, on live patients:

         •        Effective restoration of age-related changes

         •        Enhancement of characteristic features for both women and men.

 

Trainers

Professor Jean-Paul Meningaud  

Professor Meningaud MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Plastic and maxillofacial Surgery and Director of the ambulatory surgical Department at the Henri Mondor hospital (Hospitals of Paris). A Fellow of the European Board of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, he has graduated in microsurgery and holds the HDR (postdoctoral degree authorizing the holder to direct the research of others). Professor Meningaud and his team have an extensive experience of the feasibility, reproducibility, risks and benefits of face transplantation. He received the James Barret Brown award in 2011. He has been President of the European Association for Cranio Maxillo Facial Surgery in 2018-2020. He oversees ten University Diplomas in cosmetic medicine, one in microsurgery and one in dental implants. He runs research in regenerative medicine and aesthetic surgery. Certified Expert, Cour de Cassation (highest court in the French judiciary), he is a titular member of the French National Academia of Surgery.

 

Professor Barbara Hersant  

Barbara Hersant is a plastic surgeon-MD PhD in the department of plastic, reconstructrive, aesthetic and maxillo facial surgery of a university hospital near Paris (Henri Mondor Hospital, Creteil). She is  professor and she is the  director of  the DUMEG programm (universitary diploma in genital aesthetic and reconstrutive medicine and surgery ). Her practice is specialized in lipedema, vulvo vaginal, penis, bottom and breast surgery. She is also a researcher in the field of adiposed steam cells and platelets rich plasma for skin and nerve rejuvenation. She obtained her PhD in science since November 2018. she is used to plublishing in international journals

Facial anatomy and age-related changes

         •        Gender-specific aging features: female vs. male face

         •        Basic anatomy: “danger zones,” vascular network

         •        Approach to correction: naturalness vs. pronounced effect

Approach to the male face in aesthetic medicine

         •        Structural and perceptual features

         •        Errors in “unifying” techniques

         •        Product selection: dosages, techniques, focus areas

         •        Concept of “masculinity” in aesthetics

Patient: 50–60 years old

Procedure: Contour correctiom

         •        Emphasizing the angles of the mandible

         •        Treatment of forehead, glabellar area, and nasolabial folds
