Dr. Sia is a Clinical Professor in Oral Surgery at the Manila Central University, current section Chair of OMFS, at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (Department of Health), and Lead Medical Specialist in OMFS, Department of Surgery at the Cebu South Medical Center (Department of Health).

He currently serves as an examiner in OMFS and Oral Surgery delivered by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, Council member of the International College for Maxillo-Facial Surgery, The International Relations Officer for The Philippines of the Young OMFS Group of Hong Kong, and the current President of the Philippine Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Prof. Sia is qualified in OMFS, Medicine, and Dentistry in the Philippines and is a recognized Fellow of both honor societies of the International College of Surgeons and Dentists and other numerous relevant international Fellowships and Diplomas relating to Surgery, Maxillofacial, Head and Neck, Implantology, Medicine, Dentistry, and maintains his hospital practice exclusive practice to OMFS with research interest in benign tumors, cleft, orthognathic, and surgical education.
