Prof. Koçyiğit graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Ankara University in 2002 and completed his Ph.D. in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same institution in 2008. He has served at Kırıkkale University since 2008, achieving the title of Full Professor in 2020. In 2013, he was a visiting doctor at Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford, Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital, and Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. He has authored more than 40 international and 30 national publications and is an active member of AO International, EACMFS, IAMOS, and ACBID. His main clinical and research interests include cleft lip and palate, reconstructive and orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and zygomatic implants
