Prof. Dr. Sabri Cemil İşler was born in 1979 in Çorlu, Turkey. He completed his secondary and high school education at Bilge Kağan College, graduating in 1997. That same year, he beganhis studies at the Faculty of Dentistry, Istanbul University, and graduated in 2002. He then enrolled in the PhD program in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the same faculty. In 2008, upon completing his doctoral thesis, he was conferred the title of Doctor of Dentistry.

In the same year, he completed a six-month fellowship at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Osnabrück, Germany. Additionally, he carried out studies in the Philippines to gain experience in the treatment of cleft lip and palate patients and maxillofacial trauma.

He was conferred the title of Associate Professor in 2012 and the title of Professor in 2022.

He currently continues his academic work in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial

Surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry, Istanbul University.
